We headed south to the seaside with thousands of others, Via Exeter (? wrong turn and blocked roads, not sightseeing!) We had fish n chips in a cafe in a quaint little seaside village with very big seagulls. We arrived in Weymouth and I drove via the back roads (cos I know them!!) into the town. The small Kiwis couldn't understand why I was crying but the experience of returning to where I grew up with my 3 children after 15.5 years was overwhelming. It was also the thought of being a 'grockle' for the next 3 days, i.e an official holidaymaker! We are staying in my friend's house whilst they are away.

How We Became Grockles
